Jon Abbott 27" 2.8 Quad i7 2TB Followup to previous post - called Apple Support and they asked me to bring it to the local Apple Store. The tech support person said that most likely the power inverter is faulty and will need to be replaced.

27" 2.8 Quad i7 1TB Second iMac as a replacement for the first. Both have had this same yellowing problem that looks pretty much the same, from what I remember, on both screens.
